Privacy

This is the personal website of Saswat Deb Barman, based in Bengaluru, India. This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and written so it also makes sense to visitors from elsewhere.

What this site collects

Right now, nothing. There are no forms, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this domain, not from third parties.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. I don't use that data to identify you.

If you email me

If you use a "Work with me" link, your email app sends me a message. I use your name, email address and what you write only to reply and discuss the work. I don't sell or share it, and you can ask me to delete our correspondence at any time.

Recipe narration

Recipes in the cookbook may be read aloud by an AI-generated version of my own voice, created with my consent. The audio plays from this site; nothing about you is sent anywhere when you press play.

Links to other sites

Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, Behance, Vimeo, Spotify and YouTube take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Changes

If new features need personal data (for example a newsletter or a booking tool), this notice will be updated before they go live, and anything that needs your consent will ask for it first.
